1. What unforeseen shakeups are on the horizon?

This 2019 Texas football recruiting class didn’t have a single clue what was to come this month. The McCoy news and all the ratings adjustments made this a crazy good last full month for this recruiting cycle before National Signing Day. More could be to come if this trends keeps for roughly the next week and a half.

Between a host of former four-star commits and signees for the Horns getting the bump to five-stars and even adding one more five-star recruit, this is about as good as it could get the past few weeks. In the best way possible, no one could really have predicted what happened during a usually silent period between the Early Signing Days and National Signing Day.

With all this in mind, you have to consider that more unforeseen shakeups could be just around the corner. Whether it be positive or negative, the Horns could get more changes that come completely out of the blue. Landing more than one commit or having Shepherd choose an unexpected program to flip to would qualify as a few big surprises for this recruiting class.

Texas football fans should be rooting for positive news to be around the corner that would catch most of the college football world off guard. That would qualify as something like a commit from Ealy or having an explosion in the 2020 class due to the strength of the incoming recruits from this recruiting cycle.
