With a looming visit to with the Texas football program on the horizon for five-star 2020 California ILB Justin Flowe, why should he commit to play here?

A key upcoming visit slated for the Texas football program ahead of the start of spring drills officially will come from five-star Upland, CA, inside linebacker Justin Flowe. Since the 2020 Texas football recruiting class has yet to be off and running among commits on the defensive side of the ball, Flowe is a big target for his upcoming visit to the Forty Acres.

Some of the nation’s top rated 2020 high school prospects at linebacker have recently dropped their finalists schools, which included the Texas football program. Five-star Washington native outside linebacker, and a top-five rated 2020 high school prospect in the nation, Sav’ell Smalls put Texas football in the list of finalists that he dropped on Feb. 10.

To be clear, there is not set decision date yet for Flowe. Although, he is set for a visit to the Forty Acres with Texas football with his little brother and 2021 linebacker recruit Jonathan Flowe, according to The Football Braniacs. That visit to the Forty Acres for the Flowe brothers looks to be set for March.

The 2020 recruiting cycle is loaded with talent on the west coast at linebacker that Texas football is attempting to gain traction with. The 2019 Texas football recruiting class did have a fair bit of talent at linebacker, but no five-star commits/signees.

Here’s a look at the definitive three reasons why the elite Upland High School and California native inside linebacker Justin Flowe should choose the Texas Longhorns for his commitment decision.
