Among the quarterbacks that fall in the 2020 recruiting cycle that Texas football has yet to offer, but should, is the four-star in-state pro-style Ken Seals. Although he is getting some looks from Herman and the rest of the Texas coaching staff, Seals has not officially received one of the now less than five offers sent to 2020 quarterbacks.

Adding a different dynamic to the 2020 Texas football recruiting class could be immediately accomplished by hauling in a pledge from Seals. This Weatherford High School quarterback is getting some more national attention lately, but is going to get his due as we move closer to the start of the 2019 regular season.

The 6-foot-3 and 195 pound standout signal caller ranks as the nation’s No. 12 2020 pro-style quarterback and a top 350 prospect overall. He is also ranked as the No. 41 prospect out of the state of Texas. Seals has a strong arm and good footwork in the pocket. He’s a different player than what the Horns have with Ehlinger.

That could be a good thing if Herman is looking for a quarterback that would be more similar to the profile of Rising or Buechele. Seals has an amazing deep ball and some sneaky speed. He runs the 40 around 4.8 or 4.9 seconds, which isn’t the worst for a pro-style quarterback the size of Seals.
