With one of the bigger weekends of this off-season for Texas football just around the corner, which prospects are the most pivotal for the coaching staff?

This is the time of year for the Texas football program that the recruiting trail and transfer markets become the primary focus outside of getting revved up for the start of spring camp. But, the start of spring camp appears to be roughly at least one month out and the spring football game is still about two months away.

Feb. 15 kicks off a huge weekend of visits for the Texas football program for Junior Day. There’s even some key offensive line targets from the transfer market and in the NCAA Transfer Portal that are set to visit the Forty Acres for Junior Day this weekend. There is plenty to follow for fans of Texas football in one of the most pivotal set of official visits of any weekend for the 2019 off-season.

For this crucial weekend of Junior Day visits, there are targets from future Texas football recruiting classes and some potential graduate transfers set to come to the Forty Acres. All of the potential transfer prospects on campus this weekend are either JUCO or graduate transfer offensive lineman. The only JUCO is the 6-foot-7 and 330 pound Iowa Western C.C. offensive tackle Willie Tyler.

However, some of the other recruits that will be visiting Texas football this weekend include prospects for the 2020, 2021, and 2022 cycles. Needless to say, this is a big recruiting weekend for head coach Tom Herman and the rest of his staff.
