4. Indianapolis Colts

You could argue that there wasn’t a single team that wound up with a better 2018 NFL Draft haul through and through than the Indianapolis Colts. Then first-year general manager, and a former front office employee of the Chiefs, Chris Ballard was able to help immediately turn around this Colts team.

The Colts are one or two steps beyond where the Browns are in the movement of the franchise. Charles Omenihu would be coming to a team with some Super Bowl aspirations, or at least for the AFC Championship, for the 2019 season if he lands with head coach Frank Reich and the Colts.

However, this is an off-season where the Colts need to build up the defensive side of the ball to help star quarterback Andrew Luck get a break sometimes. The receiving corps could use an upgrade too, but the defense needs help at almost all levels. But, the defensive ends and defensive backfield in general need a boost this off-season.

If he falls to them beyond the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft, the Colts should do the best possible to snag Omenihu. He could be the immediate impact pass rusher that would fit nicely with a rising young defense in the AFC. He could take the spot that was filled by either Tyquan Lewis or Jabaal Sheard last season.
