3. Tennessee Titans

We’ll stay in the AFC South, which is a division that needs some help on the edge. The Tennessee Titans have one of the biggest needs at defensive end of any team in the NFL this off-season. Linebacker is set more so than defensive end, but both areas are spots we could see the Titans address both positions in this NFL Draft.

At the stage that the Titans are at right now, the defense should continue to build through the NFL Draft and shy away from free agency. Some money should be saved for figuring out the quarterback situation for the future. If the former Oregon Ducks Heisman Trophy winner Marcus Mariota can stay healthy, he could be the answer under center.

However, the Titans have to be ready for whatever the future has to offer. The rest of the team seems to be ready for a decent playoff run in the AFC, but there’s some holes to fill to help get through the stiff South division. Veteran edge rusher Derrick Morgan is set to be a free agent this coming off-season, but defensive end DaQuan Jones should be back and ready to go in 2019.

Tennessee boasted one of the worst pass rushes and slowest pushes along the defensive line of any team in the NFL in 2018. Adding a defensive end with overwhelming strength and agile feet like Charles Omenihu is a really good fit with the Titans. This could also be a team that could reach in the first or second round for him.
