Who were the most important prospects that the coaching staff for Texas football were able to impact last weekend at Junior Day?

The off-season is going in full swing right now for the Texas football program. One of the biggest recruiting weekends of the year for Texas football just came and went too. The 2020 and 2021 Texas football recruiting classes had some important work to do on Junior Day this past weekend to get things set for this recruiting cycle.

National Signing Day closed the book on the 2019 Texas football recruiting class on Feb. 6, so the 2020 recruiting class is now sitting at the forefront this off-season. Texas football couldn’t ask for a much better result out of the weekend that was Junior Day in terms of commits and the level of prospects that were present on the Forty Acres.

Beyond what this program got out of a few big time commits for the 2020 recruiting class, it seemed like there were some highly touted prospects that were impacted in a big way from the weekend. Texas football hosted a bunch of current or eventual five-star prospects from the 2020, 2021, and 2022 recruiting cycles for Junior Day.

Among those prospects on campus for Junior Day were three potential transfer offensive line candidates. Offensive line coach Herb Hand had one of the most crucial sets of weekend visits among all the assistant coaches for Texas football. It looks as if he had a successful go at things too.

There were also a few prospects that received offers from Texas football in the first place. Not all of the prospects on campus for the weekend had already received an official offer yet.

Here’s a look at the three most impactful recapped weekend visits for the Texas Longhorns out of Junior Day.
