Even though the ultra-talented 2021 Willowbridge High School wide receiver Latrell Neville doesn’t have any official recruiting ranking in yet from 247Sports or Rivals, you can already tell he’ll be one of the best at his position for this cycle. His offer sheet already includes a ton of blue bloods, including Texas football.

No matter how much the Horns were able to impress Neville on Junior Day, or throughout the entirety of the weekend in general, his recruitment will be a constant battle. The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions for Neville have Ohio State, Texas A&M, and the LSU Tigers as the three early favorites to land his commitment.

Yet, this is the type of talent at wide receiver that the Horns can’t let slip out of the clutches. Elite in-state recruits like Neville are very important to keep in the mix. That’s why other competing programs for his pledge like Texas A&M and LSU are also fighting very hard. But, Junior Day could be a pivotal point at the shift of Neville’s interests in coming to the Forty Acres.

His words and social media activity from the weekend were both very encouraging signs for the causes of the 2021 Texas football recruiting class. He state that: “Amazing as usual, always feel like home.”

That’s a good takeaway from his visit to Austin this past weekend and what could be ahead for his recruitment with the Texas coaching staff.
