5. Arizona Cardinals

It would be nice to see Lil’Jordan Humphrey fall as early as in the top five selections in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft. That’s just not a reality for the upcoming draft, but he could fall to the Arizona Cardinals a few rounds down the line. This is a team that has a dire need at wide receiver, despite some young talent falling across the board at the skill positions.

The idea of any wide receiver from a Big 12 offense falling to newly hired head coach Kliff Kingsbury and this potent Cardinals offense is pretty appealing. The former Texas Tech Red Raiders head coach made an interesting move through the college football off-season to reach the point he is at now.

However, really the only skill position that the Cardinals need an upgrade at is wide receiver. This team should be set at quarterback, if it wants to roll with the former UCLA Bruins standout Josh Rosen. Running back is also set if the superstar David Johnson can make it through the end 2019 regular season healthy.

Outside of what former Texas A&M Aggies wideout Christian Kirk brings for the receiving corps, the Cardinals need a boost of young talent. What also makes this a good landing spot for Humphrey, beside what comes along with competing with a former Aggies receiver on the same offense, is getting to develop under Larry Fitzgerald.
