With the 2019 NFL Draft just around the corner, where are Texas Longhorns prospects projected to be drafted come draft weekend?

A successful 2018 football season brought the Texas Longhorns football program a 10-4 record with a Sugar Bowl victory over the Georgia Bulldogs in Tom Herman’s second year. Player development, especially with upperclassmen, was a key piece to the turnaround and could result in multiple players being selected in the 2019 NFL Draft.

With exactly a month away until the 2019 NFL Draft, and with Texas Pro Day approaching this week, Longhorn draft prospects are vigorously training in order to hear their name called during the three day draft weekend in Nashville, TN. It is held from Thursday April 25 to Saturday April 27.

The long process for players out of the Texas Longhorns football program getting prepared for the 2019 NFL Draft is almost over. The Pro Day on the Forty Acres and the 2019 NFL Draft itself are the only things keeping some of the top Longhorns away from hearing their name called and starting their careers at the next level.

Texas departs with 15 draft eligible players, and all 15 have a shot at signing with a NFL team by the end of April.  Here is a mock up of potential landing spots for Texas’ top prospects for the 2019 NFL Draft.
