4. Front seven depth still here for Texas

If yesterday proved anything for the Texas football program for the remainder of spring camp, it’s that Orlando has a plethora of talent and depth to work with to rebuild the front seven. Both the linebackers and defensive line groups at least showed off the depth built through the recruiting trail for the past two cycles.

The front seven for the Horns had so much departing talent and experience at the outset of the off-season that is was clearly worth worrying about heading into spring drills. Two factors that helped ease the turnover burden for this front seven thus far in spring is the abundance of early enrollees from the nation’s third ranked 2019 signing class and the talent in waiting in the first place.

There was a ton to be excited about from the front seven rotation this past season, especially along the defensive line. That showed through in this spring scrimmage, with the likes of redshirt freshman defensive tackle Keondre Coburn and rising junior defensive end Ta’Quon Graham showing flashes in this scrimmage against the offense.
