Texas Football: 3 pivotal spring game visiting recruits
Texas football recruiting is already off to a much better start than usual in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex than for the 2020 cycle than it did in the previous two. The previous two recruiting classes for the Longhorns were actually made up by a good portion of out-of-state signees among the four and five-star guys.
However, the 2020 Texas football recruiting class can get off to a solid start on the defensive side of the ball in Dallas, TX, by impressing four-star Highland Park High School edge rusher Prince Dorbah. There is not a single commit that could add to the Texas defense for this 2020 recruiting class as of April 12.
Through numerous recruiting combines thus far during the off-season, Dorbah impressed and grew his stock even more entering his senior year of high school ball. He’s an explosive pass rusher off the edge and could make an early impact if he ultimately lands on the Forty Acres. In events like the Dallas Opening Regional and the Rivals Adizero Combine, Dorbah was among the better prospects coming out of the Metroplex.
It does seem like Dorbah is the type of players that has five-star talent with a four-star classification from 247Sports at the moment. He currently ranks as the nation’s No. 15 high school outside linebacker and a top 250 prospect overall. The 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions gives Texas the edge to land his commitment early on.
