This is going to be the first bold prediction of the list, that the Longhorns manage to get three players selected in the first three rounds of the 2019 NFL Draft. This idea isn’t out of the question, though, since there is plenty of talent coming off the Forty Acres this year into the NFL.

Texas is able to boast an athletic set of starting cornerbacks from the 2018 team, especially with Kris Boyd. As a three-year starter on the Forty Acres, Boyd had quite the load of ups and downs. He started out by getting on the bad side of the Longhorns fan base, with a tweet to rival Texas A&M from the locker room at halftime during his true freshman campaign.

What separates Boyd here is the possibility that he does become more reliable at the next level and develop into a true starting-caliber defensive back in the NFL. The mistimed jumps, overplaying deep routes, and aggressive penalties all need to steady out. But, he has the raw athleticism and showed flashes in college of becoming a solid NFL corner.
