2019 NFL Draft: Predicting every former Longhorn drafted
There are a few parts of the game and skill set of 6-foot-3 and 210 pound cornerback Davante Davis that make him a very appealing prospect likely landing on day three in the 2019 NFL Draft. His physical tools and strength are always going to be brought to the forefront when discussing a scouting report for him.
The 2019 NFL Draft isn’t really stacked at cornerback, but there are a host of solid prospects left for day two. That list includes Greedy Williams of the LSU Tigers and Byron Murphy of the Washington Huskies. The lack of depth will play in favor of Boyd and Davis when it’s all said and done.
Depending on how various NFL teams feel about landing a prospect like Boyd or Davis, they could go much earlier than most in the national media would anticipate. Davis was one of the five former Longhorns invited to the NFL Combine, which indicates some level of interest for day three from prospective teams for this draft.
