2019 NFL Draft: Predicting every former Longhorn drafted
There are two real bold predictions pertaining to the former Longhorns in the 2019 NFL Draft pool on this list. One has to do with the particular slotting of where these seven players will go. Here, we have a former Longhorns defensive back that is very worthy of getting draft looks on day three.
Texas should have at least five players get selected on day two and day three of the 2019 NFL Draft. The final we have here is the versatile and capable former starting Longhorns nickelback P.J. Locke III. We feel that Locke III is the type of player that will be reliable and proven enough for a team to pickup on late in the seventh round.
Few players in a Longhorns uniform were as productive and consistent during the 2017 and 2018 seasons for Herman as Locke III. He was a bit slower and didn’t turn the ball over as much as some fans would like. But he isn’t known for being a playmaker. He’s solid in multiple areas of his game, but isn’t great at anything in particular.
