Caden Sterns, Safety

Of course it is too early to tell what will happen for the Freshman All-American and former five-star signee Texas football safety Caden Sterns for the rest of his career on the Forty Acres. He is still one of the most fun players to watch in the Texas secondary and could be staring a huge sophomore season right in the face.

Yet, if we’re imagining the University of Texas campus as Westeros, then Sterns has a pretty clear comparison for how the roles line up between this football program and the show. Sterns lines up well with how Brienne of Tarth commands Game of Thrones, especially in the later seasons.

Brienne of Tarth is an under-the-radar character at first that starts becoming a more and more likable figure. Sterns didn’t start his career with the Longhorns as an under-the-radar piece. But, both Brienne and Sterns watch over their respective squads with mite and are very good at what they do.

Brienne made it through the war against the dead in Season Eight and Sterns made it through his freshman season as a USA Today Freshman All-American. Another valid similarity between the two is that Brienne had a blip in the road that hit in the latest episode, and Sterns had ankle surgery to begin the off-season.
