Texas Football: Top Longhorns as Game of Thrones characters
B.J. Foster, Safety/Nickelback
If we’re legitimately keeping rising sophomore nickelback and fellow former five-star signee B.J. Foster on the same playing field as Sterns on this list, then we have to keep the Game of Thrones character comparisons similar too.
Foster wasn’t on the same level as Sterns during his true freshman campaign, but he did prove that he is one of the best and most talented young defensive backs in the Big 12. Defensive coordinator Todd Orlando was also confident enough in Foster’s utility to move him to nickelback in spring ball.
Among the most talented fighters in Game of Thrones in Season Eight still is a notoriously inconsistent character, Jaime Lannister. Going from villain to hero and then back again, Jaime is hard to get a read on. He can’t seem to stay away from his sister, Cersei Lannister, and this is similar to how Foster can work in unison with other players in the Longhorns secondary and front seven.
Foster does switch up positions frequently. That is mainly due to the wide ranging versatility that he brings to the table for the Longhorns. Texas football is lucky to have Foster when he’s healthy and productive. He did miss some time last year due to a targeting call, though. The ups and downs there can mirror Jaime in GoT.
