There were a few massive additions to future schedules for Texas football looking all the way up to the 2033 regular season.

The Texas football program has a host of huge future non-conference matchups scheduled with different respective blue bloods around the nation. There was yet another big time non-conference series announced way into the future involving the Texas football program of late, against the Florida Gators.

That non-conference home and home series with the Gators was first reported by Kirk Bohls of the Austin-All American Statesman. Texas football will get to face Florida in 2030 and 2031. In 2030, Texas will travel to Gainesville, FL, to face Florida at The Swamp at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium. Then in 2031, Texas will host Florida presumably at Darrell K. Royal-Texas Memorial Stadium in Austin.

However, this announcement of the Texas football program getting to host another SEC East program in Florida more than a decade out just adds to the premier non-conference futures schedule already in store. A few of the other big time series that Texas has coming up soon involves the LSU Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, and Ohio State Buckeyes.

Texas football has nearly every big time blue blood college football program in the nation imaginable slated for the next 15 years. And, Texas already had non-conference series blue bloods like the USC Trojans and the Notre Dame Fighting Irish in the past four years. Adding Florida to the mix will just bring even more excitement to the table.

This non-conference series with Florida was not the only big time opponent added to the futures schedule for the Texas Longhorns football program. Who else do we have to look forward to?
