Texas Football: Biggest future schedule additions slated lately
Other series to look to
There are so many future series scheduled for the Texas football program that fans should be very excited about. Just out of the SEC, the Longhorns are now slated to face Florida, LSU, Alabama, the Arkansas Razorbacks, and Georgia Bulldogs. LSU and Alabama are up next for the next four seasons. Georgia, Florida, and Arkansas are further into the future.
Yet, the Longhorns also have big-time matchups now coming out of the PAC-12 and the Big Ten. Ohio State and Michigan will be two of the most fun non-conference matchups that Texas gets in the next decade. Ohio State is slated to face Texas in 2025 and 2026 while Michigan will face them in 2024 and 2027.
It is also worth mentioning the non-conference series that Texas has slated against the Colorado State Rams. At this moment, the two best non-conference matchups scheduled for the future appear to be Colorado State (2024) and USF. Those could be fun to watch even though they come against Group of Five opponents.
We are looking far into the future for Longhorns non-conference series, but it’s great to keep up with this now since the relevance will stay strong for this program for at least the next 15 years. Adding Florida and Arizona State to an already loaded futures schedule for Texas makes this all the more exciting for the fans.
