3. Edge for Texas football over other landing spots

There is a weird mix of potential landing spots that Feaster included among his spots of interest for where he intends to visit. Texas football is one of the bigger programs that he mentioned among his potential destinations, which does make sense considering the lack of depth in that running back room.

According to Woody Wommack of Rivals, there are more than five schools that interest Feaster at the moment and that he plans to visit soon. He has yet to take any reported visits since announcing that he planned to depart the Clemson football program, but that should change very soon.

The other five landing spots mentioned in Wommack’s report via his Twitter timeline included the Alabama Crimson Tide, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Virginia Tech Hokies, Oklahoma Sooners, and East Carolina Pirates.

There’s a good chance that the Longhorns could give Feaster the best mix of immediate playing time and a big role this fall along with a path to Power Five conference title and national title contention. Alabama, Mississippi State, and Virginia Tech would be other programs to watch that could offer a similar pitch.
