1. Final push for the skill positions

Outside of the obvious factors that Feaster brings to the table for Texas football as a grad transfer, this could be the perfect landing spot for him due to the current setup this team has at the skill positions. He could be that final push that the Longhorns offense needs to win a Big 12 Championship under Herman’s direction.

Texas brings back one of the top receiving corps in the Big 12, a ton of depth at tight end, a Heisman contender at quarterback, and a young but potent duo of running backs. What Feaster brings is more than 1,500 career total yards from scrimmage and 16 touchdowns. He also had well over 200 touches on the ground at Clemson and racked up 6.0 yards per carry.

Feaster would be a fantastic mentor for a developing former five-star signee like Jordan Whittington who is still getting used to playing running back after switching over from wide receiver. It’s hard to imagine a better fit for Whittington to learn under than a two-time champion and versatile rusher like Feaster.

More than anything, Feaster is a very talented back that brings three years of experience and a good stat line from his time at Clemson to the Longhorns and other potential schools he could land with. He’s a former five-star top all-purpose running back in the nation coming out of high school during the 2016 recruiting cycle.
