Missing out on winning the Heisman Trophy to USC running back Reggie Bush had to put a chip on the shoulder of former Texas football superstar quarterback Vince Young. As a Heisman finalist in 2005 alongside Bush and USC quarterback Matt Leinart, it looked like he could be a worthy winner.

However, the three Heisman finalists from that heralded 2006 NFL Draft class at the time wound up meeting in the BCS National Championship Game. Young got the best of Leinart and Bush when it was all said and done in that memorable 2006 Rose Bowl off a 4th-and-5 rushing touchdown.
