The hit show on Netflix Last Chance U featured two former Texas football offerees during the fourth season that released last week.

The hit Neftlix series “Last Chance U” just released its fourth season earlier this month and it was one of the most interesting to date. Last Chance U captivated the minds of college football fans nationally when it started four years ago covering East Mississippi Community College in part one for the 2015 JUCO season. Texas football had its fair share of former JUCO transfers from the two Last Chance U schools offered throughout the years too.

JUCO talent didn’t the the exposure it deserved until within the past decade. That is largely because JUCO talent can be so difficult to scout. There are community colleges across the country that could have very talented athletes that ran into terrible situations.

The focus of the Last Chance U docuseries is on those players that once held Power Five offers coming out of high school, or even played with a big time college football program. Although, none of the players featured in the show regularly really came out of the Texas football program. Few landed there when it was all said and done at East Mississippi CC or Independence Community College.

However, the spotlight that both EMCC and ICC got from starring in Last Chance U had to help on for their player’s fortunes on the recruiting trail. Much of the show for the past two seasons with ICC discussed that getting offers was one of the most important factors for the coaching staff.

Here’s a look at the JUCO recruits from the two Last Chance U schools that were targeted by the Texas Longhorns football program since the 2014 cycle.
