I’ve got to throw around a lot of names that could be key additions to the 2020 and 2021 Texas football recruiting classes in the coming months. Elite five-star talents in the 2021 recruiting class probably won’t announce often until the start of the 2020 offseason (and let’s not think about that yet).

With so much momentum on the recruiting trail right now, all Texas fans have to be wondering what’s next for this program. Can Herman and the Longhorns continue to be one of the best programs in the nation on the recruiting trail through the start of the 2019 regular season or will the results die down for a while?

Popular choices for the next two commitments for the 2020 recruiting class for Texas are Bijan Robinson and Chris Thompson Jr. A fast riser like Jerrin Thompson could commit to Texas soon too.

But it seems like the 2021 recruiting class is the one getting all the commitments right now. Landing Billy Bowman didn’t get the national attention that it deserved as he’s ranked as a top 90 2021 high school prospect in the nation.
