This might be the least known player on the list for Texas football fans. With LSU coming to the Forty Acres in Week 2, Texas fans do need to know about the rising senior lockdown cornerback Kristian Fulton.

In replacing the 2019 early round NFL Draft pick and former LSU star cornerback Greedy Williams, Fulton will get to face the best wide receivers the Longhorns have to offer. At 6-foot and 195 pounds, Fulton will likely matchup with rising senior Texas wide receiver Collin Johnson in Week 2. The 6-foot-6 Johnson will outmatch Fulton in terms of size. But the leaping ability will help Fulton make up for that lapse in the wide receiver-cornerback matchup.

Fulton could very well be a first round pick in the 2020 NFL Draft. He has the talent and physical tools that should make all NFL scouts think highly of him. Last season he amassed 25 total tackles, 1.0 tackle for loss, 9 pass breakups, 1 interception, and 1 forced fumble.

A lot of opposing quarterbacks found themselves in a difficult situation last season when facing the LSU secondary. Having Fulton on one side and Williams on the other was an absolute luxury. Fulton will be a challenge for Texas junior quarterback Sam Ehlinger this fall in Week 2.
