Fall camp brought mixed results for Texas football thus far, including a host of recent injuries that could be concerning before Louisiana Tech.

A little less than two weeks of fall camp remains until the Texas football program will officially start setting up for the regular season opener against the Louisiana Tech Bulldogs on Aug. 31. Texas had a good run in the first fall camp scrimmage last weekend and is now preparing for the second round of competition this coming weekend.

This will be the final full week of the summer where college football won’t have any games slated. Next weekend has “Week 0” action between the Miami Hurricanes and Florida Gators as well as the Hawaii Rainbow Warriors and the Arizona Wildcats. At least college football fans will have games worth watching before Labor Day Weekend this coming season.

Yet, Texas fans have to be holding onto their hats hoping that this team can pull itself together despite a rash of injuries that are very scary for the opening of the regular season. Texas is starting to get more injury news piling up it seems every single day of fall camp.

With the second fall camp scrimmage behind us now, Texas really needs to stay healthy the rest of the way through Aug. 31. When Louisiana Tech comes to the Forty Acres, Texas can’t really afford a scare ahead of the Week 2 showdown against the LSU Tigers. This team didn’t give itself a break early in the regular season this fall.

Here’s a look into the three most concerning fall camp injuries for the Texas Longhorns football program as of Aug. 16.
