2. L’Jarius Sneed and Terry Bradshaw were wrong

Big motivation came the way of Texas football, if anymore was actually needed, for the season opener against Louisiana Tech thanks to a pairing of bold takes from a current player and a famous alum. This game also proved that the Longhorns weren’t looking past Louisiana Tech in preparation for the LSU showdown next weekend.

In the latter days of the 2019 offseason, former Louisiana Tech and NFL Star quarterback Terry Bradshaw gave his take on Ehlinger saying that essentially he’s not all that good. Ehlinger pretty much shoved that take back in Terry’s face thanks to his career-best (tied for) four passing touchdowns in the 31-point win.

The other hot take came from senior Bulldogs defensive back L’Jarius Sneed. Saying that the Longhorns receivers can’t handle press coverage now looks to be a pretty awful take. Sophomore Brennan Eagles and seniors Devin Duvernay and Collin Johnson were just three of the wide receiver that helped the passing game torch this Louisiana Tech secondary.

Any added motivation that the Longhorns opposition can provide for the rest of the season should be more than welcome. But LSU is going to be a completely different animal to prepare for with the national stakes that are on the line for Sep. 7 on the Forty Acres.
