If Oklahoma State is to get the ground game going, it will be behind the efforts of the offensive line and the more experienced players down in the trenches like redshirt senior center Johnny Wilson. It’s also hard to know exactly how good Wilson was this fall thus far with so much talent at the skill position supporting him.

For Oklahoma State fans, it has to seem like Wilson has been around forever. He’s spent the better part of the last four years getting either spot starts or just assuming the complete starting role for the Pokes at center. He’s getting huge pushes both for the passing game to develop and for the rushing attack to reach multiple levels into the opposing defense.

However, Texas football needs to be stout up the middle and having the ability to mix up the looks with defensive coordinator Todd Orlando is going to help. Orlando has multiple weapons he can use like redshirt freshman defensive tackle Keondre Coburn and senior Gerald Wilbon to make Saturday night a long one for Wilson.

What could emerge as a potential problem for the Longhorns against this Oklahoma State offensive line is all the experience they’re matching up against. Oklahoma State has three redshirt seniors that are doing well to start the regular season along the offensive line, also including Teven Jenkins and Marcus Keyes.
