The other end of the pass rush that made this Oklahoma State defensive line respond so fast is the cousin of a former great for this defense. A former early round NFL Draft pick and Oklahoma State defensive end Emmanuel Ogbah had his Canadian cousin recruited to play his college ball in Stillwater.

That Canadian cousin of Ogbah is redshirt junior defensive end/pass rusher Amen Ogbongbemiga. Last year, Ogbongbemiga contributed to Oklahoma State’s home win over the Longhorns and never looked back. He finished out the 2018 campaign on a strong note in the Pokes Liberty Bowl win over the Mizzou Tigers too.

Oklahoma State is getting most of their pass rush contributions from Ogbongbemiga as he’s already racked up 6.0 tackles for loss and 3.5 sacks through three games. In the past nine games, he has 5.0 sacks, 9.5 tackles for loss, and 1 fumble recovery. He’s hot and is going to try and make an impact in Week 4.

At 6-foot-1 and 225 pounds, Texas should have the size along the defensive line to deal with the threat that is Ogbongbemiga. The confusing part about his game is how Oklahoma State looks to mix up his looks and how versatile he is. He can fly all over the field and stop the ball carrier in pass and run defense.
