LaMarcus Aldridge (SAS)

2018/19 stats: 81 GP, 21.3 PPG, 9.2 RPG, 2.4 APG, 1.3 BPG

LaMarcus Aldridge is set to begin his 14th NBA season, and his fifth in San Antonio. Coming off of back-to-back all star seasons, the 34-year old is not showing signs of slowing down. Aldridge has been the consignment pro, averaging at least 17 points and seven rebounds per game every season since his second year in the league. Next to DeMar DeRozan and a young but talented backcourt, Aldridge and the Spurs are set to have another successful season.

Jarrett Allen (BKN)

2018/19 stats: 80 GP, 10.9 PPG, 8.4 RPG, 1.5 BPG, 1.4 APG

After improving in virtually all major statistics from year one to year two, Jarrett Allen is looking to take another step forward in year three. Allen, who is set to split minutes with De’Andre Jordan at the center position, will be a very nice complimentary piece on a Nets team with high aspirations. Allen is a solid rim protector and can run the floor well, something Kyrie Irving cherishes. I expect him to continue his upward trajectory in this league, and a lot of that revolves around his ability to develop an outside jump shot.
