Offensive line

Jake Majors (Prosper), 4-Star C

Possibly the biggest addition that any Texas football recruiting class landed in recent memory along the offensive line is four-star Prosper center Jake Majors. The nation’s No. 169 2020 high school prospect serves as an immediate fill in once the Longhorns decide to have a long-term solution to replace the departed Zach Shackelford.

Jaylen Garth (Port Neches-Groves), 4-Star OT

The first of a number of four-star signees that Texas landed over the course of the last two recruiting classes at offensive tackle is Port Neches-Groves product Jaylen Garth. The nation’s No. 214 2020 high school prospect and No. 18 offensive tackle will add solid depth in the long run in the trenches. His 6-foot-5 and 285 pound frame could be overwhelming at the next level.

Logan Parr (O’Connor), 4-Star OG

Spreading the love along the offensive line from the signees that the Longhorns had for this position group continues with four-star O’Connor offensive guard Logan Parr. He ranks as a top 275 high school prospect in the nation and in the top 10 at his position. He’s quick for his 6-foot-3.5 and 280 pound frame and could be a candidate to land a good amount of early playing time.

Andrej Karic (Southlake Carroll), 4-Star OT

Yet another addition to the Texas offensive line at the offensive tackle position came by signing four-star Southlake Carroll Andrej Karic. Originally touted as a three-star prospect, Karic rose up the national recruiting rankings as his senior high school season moved along. He’s one of the better four-star offensive tackles in the nation that ranks outside the top 20 at his position.
