Kelvontay Dixon

Kelvontay Dixon, brother of current Texas running back Keontay Ingram, landed with the Longhorns just before the start of National Signing Day.

How early will he sign his National Letter of Intent?

The four-star athlete out of Carthage High School has been very quiet about his commitment. A lot of that can be contributed to Carthage head coach Scott Surratt who runs a very tight and no nonsense program.

Dixon had nine crystal ball predictions and they were 100 percent on the Longhorns.

Dixon did visit the University of Houston last weekend, though no traction seemed to be gained out of that. The only other school to watch out for is Arkansas, the school Dixon decommitted from in mid-November.

Should Dixon find his way onto the Forty Acres I see him fitting in at the wide receiver role, especially with the upcoming logjam at the running back position. At 6-0, 180 pounds Dixon will need to bulk up, however, I believe he is a four/five year player for Texas so there is no rush to throw him out on the field.
