Who should fans of the Texas football program be watching from the 2020 recruiting class to make an early impact in spring camp?

There were eight early enrollees out of the 19 total signees in the 2020 Texas football recruiting class. That’s a good portion of the recruiting class that Texas locked in both during the Early Signing Period and National Signing Day to get to campus to enroll early. In fact, Texas nearly had half of their 2020 recruiting class that had signed after the Early Signing Period back in December enroll early.

Head coach Tom Herman looked to make it a priority to lock in as much of his signing class as possible to get them to enroll early for spring camp. He wouldn’t be able to get those two recruits he landed on Feb. 5 (National Signing Day) to enroll early and arrive to campus as soon as the signees that were locked in during the Early Signing Period did.

The two prospects that Texas hauled in on National Signing Day are going to be focal points of this incoming freshman class moving forward. Texas landed four-star Cedar Creek strong-side defensive end Alfred Collins as their biggest get on Feb. 5. They also nabbed four-star Carthage athlete and former Arkansas Razorbacks commit Kelvontay Dixon in the late hours of Feb. 4.

Which of the eight early enrollees that Texas has in the 2020 signing class will show up and make an impact right out of the gate? That is always a question mark that Texas fans get very eager to know.

Here’s a look into the three early enrollees from the 2020 recruiting class of the Texas Longhorns football program who can make the most immediate impact entering spring camp.
