Jordan Elliott, Defensive Lineman

This part of the transfer list out of the Texas football program is more less known names that are making pretty big impacts elsewhere. A name that would be often skimmed over among a list of former Longhorn transfers is 6-foot-4 and 315 pound defensive lineman Jordan Elliott.

As one of the more underrated Mizzou Tigers defensive linemen during the 2019 campaign, Elliott racked up a career-best 44 total tackles, 8.5 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks, and three pass deflections. He now has 18.0 tackles for loss, 5.5 sacks, and one forced fumble in his collegiate career.

Elliott will have one year of eligibility left in Columbia.

Marcel Southall, Defensive Lineman

The Florida Atlantic Owls added depth to their front seven in quality fashion with a former JUCO transfer and Duncanville, TX, native Marcel Southall. The 6-foot-3 and 270 pound former Longhorn recruit Southall has 17 total tackles and one tackle for loss in two years with Florida Atlantic.

Erick Fowler, Linebacker

The 2019 season with Sam Houston State didn’t go as planned for the former Texas linebacker Erick Fowler, likely due to injury problems. The former All-Southland Conference Second-Team honoree does have 69 career total tackles, six sacks, three pass deflections, two fumble recoveries, and 19.5 tackles for loss during his three year career at Sam Houston State.
