A player that has seemingly been around forever in the Big 12 Football Conference along with Kansas State’s Thompson is to-be senior Baylor Bears quarterback Charlie Brewer. Watch out for the quarterback-wide receiver duo of Brewer and to-be junior Tyquan Thornton to be one of the best in the Big 12 in 2020.

Baylor is undergoing a lot of changes to their defensive depth chart and their coaching staff entering the 2020 offseason. They lost former head coach Matt Rhule to the NFL’s Carolina Panthers, in the same job role. Baylor wound up bringing in former LSU Tigers defensive coordinator Dave Aranda to be their next head coach.

Moreover, Baylor will be taking on a former Longhorns offensive analyst as their next offensive coordinator. Former Texas analyst and North Carolina Tar Heels head coach Larry Fedora will be taking the reigns as the next Baylor offensive coordinator. That could mean a faster-paced and more wide-open Baylor offense this fall.

Brewer will be coming into the 2020 season on a high-note as he finished up the 2019 campaign with a career-best passer efficiency rating of 147.0 and also a career-high 8.4 adjusted yards per passing attempt. He totaled up around 3,500 total yards from scrimmage, 32 touchdowns, and just seven interceptions last season.
