The UCLA Bruins, like Miami and West Virginia, sent a number of skill position players into the transfer portal entering the 2020 offseason. UCLA and Miami each have at least two tight ends in the transfer portal in the midst of the offseason. And one from the Bruins that is still surprisingly uncommitted is to-be senior Jordan Wilson.

Although the Texas football program would only get his services for one year, Wilson would be a worthy candidate to pursue out of the transfer portal. Given that Georgia already landed McKitty out of the transfer portal back in January, Wilson might be the most proven tight end left for any program to pursue.

Wilson has put on a lot of size since he made his way to UCLA from Nashville, TN, when he was coming out of Montgomery Bell Academy. He was a three-star recruit that stood at 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds. Entering his senior season, he’s weighing in at about 255 pounds. That helped him seal the edge better and reach the next level as a run and pass blocker.

In the 16 games Wilson played in thus far during his college career, he’s racked up 25 catches for 244 yards and two touchdowns. Most of his production came during his redshirt freshman campaign, when he got more than 150 receiving yards and both touchdowns of his career. Injury marred his time at UCLA since then.
