Where former Texas football wide receiver Devin Duvernay lands in the 2020 NFL Draft will be highly dependent on buy in during day two.

At least as of late, the most appealing 2020 NFL Draft prospect coming out of the Texas football program is former senior breakthrough star wide receiver Devin Duvernay. The 5-foot-11 and 210 pound Duvernay is a very modern fit in the NFL. He’s not the most sizable wideout in the world. But the good news for Duvernay is that star wide receivers don’t have to be at least 6-foot-4 or 5 to really get high-level promise in the NFL.

Given his thoroughly impressive speed and route running ability that he showed during his senior season, there’s just no way that Duvernay should fall later than the fourth round in this draft.

Last season with Texas, Duvernay racked up 106 catches for 1,386 yards, and 10 total touchdowns. Duvernay became a more well-rounded wide receiver as he blossomed into one of the nation’s most reliable and productive skill position players.

This NFL Draft is going to be weird. There is a plan to hold a completely virtual draft to due to the novel coronavirus pandemic precautions. Players like Duvernay will still be getting the draft news from home, instead of the green room, but everyone will be doing this from home or a local isolated office. Team facilities are still going to be closed up.

Here’s a look into three best landing spots for the senior wide receiver out of the Texas Longhorns football program Devin Duvernay in the 2020 NFL Draft.
