2. Miami Dolphins

For most of the 2019 regular season, it appeared that the Miami Dolphins needed help at pretty much every position in the looming offseason. But the Dolphins actually reeled things in pretty quickly down the stretch, and finished up the regular season with five wins. They also had a good start to the offseason with a few key free agent signings.

While the Dolphins did improve at a number of positions on both sides of the ball at the outset of the offseason, they still have a lot left to do in the 2020 NFL Draft. Three of their biggest positional needs in the draft will be at essentially every spot along the offensive line. The main focal point will be the interior offensive line too.

Shoring up the depth in the trenches with a potential undrafted free agent signing or late round pick like Braun that has ample experience in successful ground games could do nothing but help the Dolphins. They ranked dead last in the NFL last year in total rushing yards and rushing touchdowns. The Dolphins also ranked 31st in the league in yards per carry (just 3.3).

The projected starters at the two guard positions for the Dolphins should be Ereck Flowers and Shaq Calhoun. Flowers is an upgrade to the line at one spot, and the Dolphins brought him over from a stint with the Washington Redskins. But adding Braun could be a good solution to give three deep in the preseason at each guard position.
