2. New York Jets

A team like the New York Jets is actually going to be much more needy at the wide receiver position than the Bengals will in the 2020 NFL Draft and for the remainder of the offseason. All that the Jets really have in their receiving corps at the moment is Quincy Enunwa, Breshad Perriman, and maybe a Jamison Crowder that hasn’t been very productive in a while.

There’s not anything close to a wide receiver talent that resembles a primary target in any playoff-caliber passing game in the NFL, with what the Jets have on the roster now. Goodwin could at least provide a more proven and promising deep threat and versatile playmaker than what the Jets will get out of Crowder or Perriman.

The Jets need to do something to build around former USC Trojans quarterback Sam Darnold now that they have a better support system for him in terms of the ground game and offensive line. Tight end and wide receiver need work. But if they can pull it off this offseason on the trade market and in the draft, look out.

They already signed former Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro running back Le’Veon Bell at the outset of the offseason. Add one or two more quality wide receivers, and the Jets new-look offense would be much more explosive this coming season. It is very realistic to expect that the Jets would trade for a wideout and draft one more in the early rounds later this week.
