1. New York Giants

In terms of teams that could use a lot of help at the wide receiver position in the looming 2020 NFL Draft, the New York Giants are near the top of the list to bolster overall depth. The Giants don’t have the worst receiving corps in the NFL by any means, but the youthful depth is pretty lacking with this position group.

The highlights of the Giants receiving corps includes wide receivers Sterling Shepherd and veteran Golden State, along with former Ole Miss Rebels tight end Evan Engram. Darius Slayton is an interesting piece of the Giants projected three starting wide receivers too. But there’s going to be a number of former Big 12 wide receivers competing for roster spots beyond those two.

Among those former Big 12 wide receivers that could be competing for roster spots with the Giants are former Baylor Bear Corey Coleman and West Virginia Mountaineer David Sills V. Fellow former Ole Miss wideout Cody Core is also an intriguing name to follow.

The Giants are set to build around the likes of former Duke Blue Devils quarterback Daniel Jones and former Penn State Nittany Lions running back Saquon Barkley. They are set at most of the skill positions. But if injuries start to take hold, then Jones and/or Barkley are going to need some help this year.

This Giants offense could have a pretty bright future ahead, but they need to start building up deeper at the skill positions right now.
