What looks to be a really solid landing spot for former Texas football WR Devin Duvernay in the 2020 NFL Draft is the Indianapolis Colts.

The first former Texas football player off the board in the 2020 NFL Draft will get selected on day two at the very earliest point. On the first day of the NFL Draft, there were a couple of prospects picked in the first round that come from a Big 12 program. But rounds two and three could very realistically see a Texas Ex finally taken off draft boards.

Three potential names to watch that could be the first Texas Ex off draft boards includes wide receivers Collin Johnson and Devin Duvernay, and safety Brandon Jones. For a good while the favorite among those three Texas Exes to be the first off the draft board was Duvernay. It could be any one of the three, but Duvernay is a great fit in the NFL with the way offenses are trending nowadays.

In all likelihood, prospects like Duvernay and Jones will fall off draft boards in round three or four in the 2020 NFL Draft. If it is to be Duvernay off the board first, then a very solid potential landing spot for him would be the Indianapolis Colts out of the AFC South.

They have two second round picks and two sixth round picks, and then one other in every round in between. Look out for them to address one of their biggest positional needs in this draft on day two.
