Yet another case on this list of a player that is now in the transfer portal that was chronically underused with his last team is the Oklahoma State Cowboys rising redshirt sophomore wide receiver C.J. Moore. Since he was part of the Pokes 2018 signing class, Moore has played in just three games over the course of two years.

The Longhorns wouldn’t have to dig too deep to get a gem find out of the transfer portal like Moore. Herman and the Longhorns would just have to snatch him up from another Big 12 program, in head coach Mike Gundy and Oklahoma State. Moore also didn’t put his name in the transfer portal since the big board was last released at a certain position.

But it’s a wonderment that there aren’t any tangible landing spots or a commitment that emerged for Moore yet this offseason. Texas should jump all over him since he’s still apparently on the open market.

In the three games that Moore played in up to this point, he registered just four receptions for 81 yards and two touchdowns. Pretty much all of that production came at the outset of the 2019 regular season.

The 6-foot-5 and 180 pound sizable wideout Moore ranked as the nation’s No. 147 2018 high school prospect, No. 26 wide receiver, and No. 5 prospect out of Oklahoma. The Oklahoma Sooners and Oklahoma State were the main two programs after him out of Union High School in Tulsa, OK, but the Longhorns should jump into the mix now.
