Rivals just updated their five-star prospects in the class of 2021. Here are the names Texas football fans should keep on their radar.

As the class of 2020 is all but wrapped up for Tom Herman and the Texas football program, it is onto 2021 where Herman and company will look for their fourth consecutive top-ten class.

Texas currently has nine committed prospects in the class of 2021. According to Rivals.com, five of them are rated as four-star products and four are considered three-stars. Though college football is all about bringing in talent you can work with and develop, teams with the pedigree of Texas cannot help but want to land a few five-stars.

According to the Rivals.com rankings, the Longhorns have signed one five-star prospect in each of the last three classes. Coach Herman and his staff have been keeping in touch with many of the top recruits in the class of 2021.

So, that begs the question, which five-star players does Texas have a shot at landing in the 2021 cycle?

Rivals just released their updated five-star prospect list in the class of 2021:

Texas has offered 12 of the players on this list. Four of these 17 prospects play high school football in the state of Texas, and as we know, Tom Herman has prioritized keeping the best players in the state at home.

Though this list is surely bound to change should we get a 2020 high school football season, let’s take a look at which of these 17 players the Texas Longhorns football program has the best shot of bringing back to Austin.
