Two wide receiver targets with scout looks from the 2021 Texas football recruiting class, the Green twins, are trending to Big 12 foe Oklahoma State.

The receiving corps of the Texas football program could use a boost in the 2021 recruiting class, even with one commit currently there at the position. The lone commitment to Texas’ receiving corps in the 2021 recruiting class is from three-star Warren Easton product Casey Cain. Cain ranks as the nation’s No. 847 2021 high school prospect, No. 123 wide receiver, and No. 23 prospect out of Louisiana (247Sports Composite).

While landing unheralded skill position commitments like that from Cain and three-star Hallettsville running back Jonathon Brooks is good for the depth part of the 2021 recruiting class of the Texas Longhorns football program, they do need some more highly touted prospects in this group. Texas has yet to land a single four-star skill position prospect commit in the 2021 class.

One target of the Longhorns in the 2021 class that appears to be officially getting away from them of late is four-star Allen wide receiver Bryson Green. The Green twins out of Allen High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex were some of the more highly coveted brothers to pursue for programs around the Big 12 this cycle.

The other twins that come to mind that are important for the Longhorns coaching staff to prioritize are five-star offensive tackle Tommy Brockermeyer and four-star center James Brockermeyer.

But the Longhorns do need to add to both their skill position and offensive line depth in the 2021 class.

Bryson was a prospect that Texas didn’t offer, but reportedly sent a scout look to. Bryson currently holds offers from nearly 20 different schools on his offer sheet. The 6-foot-1 and 203 pound wideout currently holds offers from the likes of the Minnesota Golden Gophers, Baylor Bears, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Auburn Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Michigan State Spartans, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Carolina Tar Heels, TCU Horned Frogs, Washington Huskies, and more.

His brother, and three-star Allen wide receiver Blaine Green, currently holds offers from 17 schools. He holds a lot of the similar offers to that of Bryson.

Bryson ranks as the nation’s No. 250 2021 high school prospect, No. 46 wide receiver, and No. 40 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite). And his brother Blaine ranks as the nation’s No. 344 2021 high school prospect, No. 58 wide receiver, and No. 50 prospect out of Texas (247Sports Composite).

The Big 12 foe of the Longhorns that is currently trending to land the commitments of both Bryson and Blaine Green is Oklahoma State. Head coach Mike Gundy has the bulk of the 247Sports Crystal Ball Predictions falling in his favor as of May 30 for both of the Green twins.

The Rivals FutureCast also has nearly all of their analysts and publishers picking Oklahoma State to land the Green twins over the rest of the competition. Gundy and the Pokes could be getting these two skilled twin wide receivers out of the state of Texas to highlight their 2021 recruiting class.

According to the 247Sports Team Composite Rankings, Oklahoma State’s 2021 recruiting class ranks at No. 67 in the nation and No. 9 in the Big 12. They sit well behind the rest of the competition among the better programs in the Big 12. Texas still maintains the top spot in the Big 12 recruiting rankings for the 2021 cycle.
