3. Alabama Crimson Tide

Alabama seems to be in the thick of the running for every major uncommitted target left remaining for the Longhorns 2021 class. The Brockermeyers are usually the first prospects that come to mind in this regard, but Turner is an important target to note here too. There is also ample opportunity for Turner to make an impact with the Crimson Tide early in his college career.

At the moment, there is only one commit in Alabama’s 2021 class that is even close to playing the same position as Turner. And he is an inside linebacker. Alabama clearly has the room for Turner in the 2021 class, and he’s been on campus in Tuscaloosa for two visits in the last seven months alone.

2. Texas A&M Aggies

This recruitment might come down to the two in-state rivals in the state of Texas to land the commitment of Turner. College Station and Austin are both about equidistant from DeSoto. Or at least they’re both close enough to DeSoto to where it won’t make a huge difference in telling the two programs apart geographically.

Texas A&M did also have at least two visits with Turner in the last six months. He’s been to campus in the last calendar year about as many times as he has to the Forty Acres. A big point too is that the Aggies only have one commitment that could even come close to playing in the same position as Turner. The ability for him to make an immediate impact at Texas A&M is clearly there.
