1. 2006

This is where the hype really started to build for VY during his run with the Titans in the NFL. Coming off of a legendary three-year playing career, including multiple Heisman finalist finishes and a BCS National Championship from the 2005 season, VY only took that momentum and helped the Titans push forward at the next level.

After being picked in the top three in the 2006 draft, VY found success right out of the gates with the Titans. He played in 15 games (starting in 13 of them) during his rookie season in 2006. In those 13 starts, he amassed a record of 8-5-0. He finished up with 2,199 passing yards, 12 passing touchdowns, 13 interceptions, and a 59.6 quarterback rating.

To add to that mark, VY posted a career-high 552 rushing yards and seven scores on the ground. He had a whopping 6.7 rushing yards per attempt and 32 first-downs from using his legs as a weapon. For his efforts during the 2006 campaign, he was named the AP Offensive Rookie of the Year, garnered his first of two Pro Bowl selections, and was the Week 16 AFC Offensive Player of the Week.

If nothing else, VY was very clutch for the Titans in 2006. He led a league-high four fourth-quarter comebacks and five game-winning drives during his rookie season. More than half of his career fourth-quarter comebacks and just shy of half of his game-winning drives came as a rookie. There is no doubt that the 2006 season was VY’s best and most clutch in the NFL.
