With the Big Ten not planning on playing a season this fall, which three teams would hypothetically be best for the Big 12 football conference to take in?

We’re not all that far away from the kickoff of the FBS side of the 2020 college football season. The actual season is already underway, as the FCS Central Arkansas Bears knocked off the Austin Peay Governors back on Aug. 29 in the official 2020 season opener. And one of the Power Five conferences are set to begin their run this fall when the Big 12 football conference on Sep. 11, in a showdown between the SMU Mustangs (American Athletic Conference) and TCU Horned Frogs.

The Big 12 has their opening weekend on Sep. 11 and 12, with all of the 10 teams having their one non-conference game. The Texas football program is set to host the UTEP Miners out of Conference-USA at home at DKR on Sep. 12. Texas is one of seven teams in the Big 12 that face an FBS opponent next weekend in the opener.

The ACC is actually the first of the Power Five conferences to being their season. On Sep. 10, the Miami Hurricanes host the UAB Blazers in what could turn out to be a pretty close matchup. The ACC begins a lot of their conference games that weekend.

And then the SEC is set to begin their 2020 season on Sep. 26, and they’re going straight into conference play. The SEC and Big 12 begin their conference slates on the same weekend.

The Big 12, SEC, and ACC are all planning to push forward with a 2020 season. Meanwhile the Big Ten and PAC-12 are delaying the season maybe until spring.

If any of the Big Ten teams hypothetically wanted to push on with a season this fall, which would be the most beneficial for the Big 12 to pick up?
