Big 12 Football: 5 best 2021 NFL Draft prospects post-Week 4
Which five stars out of the Big 12 football conference are the best looking prospects for the 2021 NFL Draft class heading out of Week 4?
The 2021 NFL Draft is going to be interesting to see how it shakes out in terms of the early entrants in this class. Since the NCAA is allowing any players that participated in the 2020 college football season to not use up a year of eligibility, we might see some players returning next season that wouldn’t otherwise. And that could continue to impact how the picture of the 2021 NFL Draft class plays out from the Big 12 football conference as this season moves along.
Heading out of Week 4 of the college football season, there might not be more chaos occurring in any one conference than there is currently in the Big 12. After the Kansas State Wildcats, Iowa State Cyclones, and Kansas Jayhawks were all upset by Group of Five teams in their season openers, things got more chaotic in the opening weekend of conference play.
The Big 12 started off the conference slate on Sep. 26, with each of their 10 teams in action in five games. Most of the chaos stemmed from Kansas State’s unlikely upset of head coach Lincoln Riley and his Oklahoma Sooners in the late morning slate. But the Texas football program had a crazy comeback in the mid-afternoon slate against the Texas Tech Red Raiders.
There has yet to be much clearing up of the NFL Draft class coming out of the Big 12 so far, but it’s sure to get more clarity in the coming weeks. The Big 12 has most of their teams just two games into the 2020 season, and some have only played one contest so far.
Here’s a look at the five best (and some honorable mentions) 2021 NFL Draft prospects out of the Big 12 coming out of Week 4 of the 2020 college football season.
