Entering what will be another crazy offseason on the Forty Acres, the roller coaster ride this cycle of the 2021 Texas football recruiting class might be far from over. While a lot of the commits in the 2021 Texas recruiting class are already on campus in Austin as early enrollees, there still might be more signees on the way in the near future.

What will make the next few weeks, at least, so tumultuous for the 2021 recruiting class is all of the coaching changes that took place since the turn of the calendar year. Even prior to all of the coaching staff changes that transpired of late, now former fourth-year head coach Tom Herman was losing his grasp on a lot of key cogs in the 2021 class.

A few months back, Herman and the Longhorns lost a key commitment from the highly coveted four-star Denton-Ryan athlete Billy Bowman Jr. To make matters worse, the Longhorns saw Bowman Jr. essentially flip his commitment and sign with the rival Oklahoma Sooners and head coach Lincoln Riley.

Texas largely just had a rough run at things on the recruiting trial within the last few months, under Herman’s direction. But that could all change soon after the hiring of former Alabama Crimson Tide offensive coordinator and the reigning Broyles Award winner Steve Sarkisian as Texas’ next head coach.

And what could help shift the fortunes of the Longhorns on the recruiting trail even greater is the quality of names he’s brought on board with the coaching staff so far. The biggest assistant name that could make a big splash on the recruiting trail is former Alabama special teams coordinator Jeff Banks.

With all of that in mind, here’s a look at four remaining unsigned 2021 prospects that Texas could go after now with Banks in the mix.
