1) Texas football QB transfer portal options

Yet another transfer quarterback option out of the portal this offseason for the Longhorns that is coming out of the SEC could be the former Kentucky Wildcats standout dual-threat senior signal caller Terry Wilson. There’s not much more that the Longhorns could do to get a quality and proven dual-threat quarterback out of the portal than looking Wilson’s way at this point.

It wasn’t all that long ago that Wilson was leading Kentucky to become one of the true surprise teams in the SEC, as a top 15 ranked squad in both major polls. But it was a quick fall from grace for the former three-star JUCO dual-threat quarterback recruit Wilson in the last year or so.

Coming out of Garden City Community College, and a native of Oklahoma City, OK, Wilson ranked as the nation’s No. 40 JUCO prospect, No. 2 dual-threat quarterback, and No. 7 JUCO prospect out of Oklahoma (247Sports Composite). And the Top247 ranked him as the nation’s No. 37 JUCO prospect, No. 2 dual-threat quarterback, and No. 6 prospect out of Oklahoma.

During his three years playing for Kentucky, Wilson registered 3,436 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns, 12 interceptions, a 129 passer efficiency rating, 65.0 completion percentage, just over 1,000 rushing yards, and 10 rushing scores. If Sark wants to have a real experienced dual-threat quarterback, Wilson could be a good option out of the portal for him.
